I used to live in a cold area, and the imagery of running on snowy roads and appeals to my nostalgic side.
I have a pair of the Reggie half tights that I've worn in two marathons and will continue to race in. They're fantastic. Great pockets for gels, etc.
I also have three singlets, that I run in in warm weather since shirtless gets a bit weird when you're no longer in HS.
The twilight split shorts are the lightest shorts I've ever owned and I hope they re-stock soon. Great cut for racing and workouts and material is perfection.
The people complaining about the cotton tee shirts being bad for running shouldn't have bought a cotton tee shirt for running in the first place. Makes zero sense, and the complaint seems invalid.
I guess the option is the cyborg looking gear from brooks, NB, etc. or the Justin Bieber / Kanye Stan looking gear Nike is pushing these days.
