Good stuff but the apparel market is completely saturated with really good product at all price points so it's hard to justify price.
C9 stuff at Target is excellent especially for the price. former adidas designers and Champion sourcing, supply chain make a great product
This is why I look at a company like Tracksmith and wonder "Is there stuff REALLY that much better than what is at the lower end/middle price points?" You can pick up really nice top-end products from any "outdoor" company (Outdoor Research/Patagonia/Mountain Hardwear) for LESS than Tracksmith stuff. Most of which come with Lifetime Guarantees! (hell, i've sent back an 8 year old running hat that ripped and got it replaced for free).
Like what is their business "competitive advantage"? It seems to me like they are just going after the "affluent white serious runners of the Northeast", which is a really niche demographic .
