I think this NDO marketing misses the mark. Have been running on pack snow since before NCAAs. This is like if in the middle of conference semis in the NBA, and Nike put out ads like, "Play hard, it's the playoffs!"
Also, running in the winter isn't even bad. Running in the middle of the summer is just as cruddy.. but you never see ads coming from anyone like, "Hey its July in Atlanta, get out there!" Sure they did that relay from LA to Los Vegas, but ffs they ran most of it at night and besides, the bus had AC
And I wouldn't be so offended if their gear wasn't trash.
I have a couple pairs of the van cordlant shorts, they're too tight in the crotch.
I have one of their greyboy tees too. Might as well dunk a thick cotten towel in water and go try and run with it on. It's the heaviest shirt I own, among all shirts
Their sweatpants are good, I wear them ever day actually.
Also, be forewarned, they size all thier gear a few sizes too small. I get it, it makes it seem like they're appealing to actual runners who are generally smaller than the general public. But at the same time, we don't all live near 'the track house' in boston, so it's not like I can try on the $60 shorts before I buy them.
Trash brand for people who have more money than they need.
Might as well just run in demin. Then when you suck, at least people won't know you paid money to be a loser.
Thank you, People of Walmart.
