He wasn't trying to break Rupp, not with a silly plan like that. Constant surges drain the muscles.
He was clearly trying to stay warm, and testing the pack to see if they had the strength to run fast under those conditions.
Is there a difference? They're still surges...am I missing something?
I just realized who this was and I get it now.
In normal conditions, surges are energy wasters, but worked in this manner because of the conditions. He was surging
to stay warm and to test the strength of the pack....to see if they could handle the conditions.
It wasn't a specific attempt to take down rupp, or some elaborate plan that was thought of ahead of time.....that is what I am calling BS on.
