Read Andrew Skurka's blog. Next time get some restaurant worker or hospital gloves. Put those on over your gloves. Your hands will stay warm and dry.


Thanks. That was just one example though. Another example is I have wind burn/frostbite/chaffing on my junk. Should I have worn a condom too? There was nothing you could do yesterday to stay warm or dry.

As far as dressing like a cyclist, I know of no cyclist who would have been out in yesterday's conditions. You would have been blow off the road.


Get to the midwest much? I ran in dozens of high school and college track meets with gusts over 50 mph. I did a bike race that was 90 miles into 30-50 mph winds. (A few weeks ago, this is not uncommon.)
