RE: The elites clothing choices in Boston perplexed me

All over these Boston threads, cyclists-this and cyclists-that are mentioned.

AND THEY'RE RIGHT. But no, leave it to runners to ignore reality, and dress like complete idiots in inclement weather. I've ridden my bike for fun, 200 miles, in weather worse than today more times than I can count. (Colder, wetter, windy like that.) Also, see most any pro bike race in the springtime in Europe, or most of them in the US Midwest.

The only women dressed near adequate today was Desi, and among the elite men, well, you weren't beating Yuki no matter what. ESPECIALLY wearing a parachute like Kirui was. God, Nike, how you suck.

agreed. Cyclist always wear attire that is fitted or semi-fitted, nothing is loose or baggy. They are able to maintain good body heat, keep dry, all while remaining aerodynamic.

Most of those runners would have been better off in a pearl izumi breaker.
