False, Cross Country passed but Track and Field did not so it didnt pass, both sports need to pass it since they share scholarships. Information comes from a long time D1 coach.
Hey "Not True, Fake News". I believe your information from a long time D1 coach is incorrect. You're thinking of the scholarship proposal. In that case the cross country coaches voted to have more scholarships but track coaches did not. "Back from convention" is correct. Both cross country and track approved the proposal to add more coaches. So for the purposes of this thread, you should probably all start positioning yourself for the great coach grab of summer 2019.
