Richard Shea was the best ever at WP. 4:10 miler in the early 50s, Penn Relays champ, All American. Turned down chance for 1952 Olympics to go to Korea. 3:51.1 made the team, equivalent to a 4:09.5 mile so he had a damn good shot. Died winning the Medal of Honor at Pork Chop Hill. Army's track is named for him.
