Well, that just threw the ladies race much more wide open. Say about 5-8 ladies have a real good chance of winning if they have a great day.
I have not heard that Allie is injured, but I haven't actively searched for such news. Stanford kept Grant Fisher off the line until Pac10 last year, so it is certainly not that unusual to keep a healthy top runner from racing until later in the season. Hope she is fine, and just going through a rough training cycle that shouldn't be interrupted by a race.
