Nutella1 should recall what happened in 2012. If the weather conditions were ideal, Wesley Korir would have finished outside the top four. G. Mutai, Gebre Mariam, Levy Matebo, Wilson Chebet and maybe Mathew Kisorio would have finished ahead of him. But as it turns out, none of them handled the horrible conditions better than him(Korir). So yes, weather affects everyone differently. Also remember David Rudisha, who has dominated 800m for at least three years now, has been beaten twice in similar weather conditions(cold/or rainy).
