Sorry, but if I recall correctly, you (or your brother) was following Webb around Europe that summer, interviewing him, and you hyped up that mile (correct me if I am mistaken).

I remember thinking it was exciting and awesome, almost like a private letsrun.com event. But I just recently watched the video of it and the lameness of it actually made me sad for Webb.

He had a hell of a summer that year, and his signature accomplishment looked like a pathetic junior high meet.

In some ways it almost makes the feat more impressive. He basically ran the AR in practice.
