You guys are talking about changing the system for the masses for the sake of the very, very few.

There are tons of great HS programs out there. What many of you don't quite get is that club systems really only work if the athlete is all-in. Those same athletes can excel in good HS programs. Now if there is not a good HS program for them.........

different story. But I don't necessarily buy this "you need the same coach for 9 straight years" crap. There are different phases of life and sometimes change can be a good thing for motivational purposes.
