I respect your opinions but I just cant foresee any situation in which Rupp could have kept up the last few laps with these guys. I'm sure he would have PR'd probably running around 12:55, but no way in hell he'd be sub 12:50. Those guys are light years ahead of him like the Ethiopean Almirew who ran 7:27 3K indoors!! Rupp couldnt touch that time and Almirew finally got the 5K right and it showed big time. Rupp barely broke 13 at Pre, yet you honestly think he's ready to close the last kilometer in 2:26 while running around 12:52 pace? Yeah right, he's currently on par about with Bekele so 12:55 would have been a great race for Rupp if he were in it today. I think its safe to say that the Africans proved today why they are the best in the business and will hoard the medals at the Olympics
