Subject: Improving my 5k time
Body:

My 400,800,1600,5000 times from last season are 56,2:05,5:09(ran once), and 19:07.

I really feel like I can run in the 16:00s for the 5k because I did really well in the cross country interval(800meter) repeats, except for some reason I did really bad in all of the races.

How can I prepare this summer???? I'm planning to run all of my mileage at <7:30 pace, around 7-8 miles a day to give me 50 miles per week. I hope to build up to the 70s/80s for mileage using doubles.

The only injury I've ever gotten was shin splits.
