Subject: Should I train for the 800m?(struggling sprinter)
Body:

I finished my college freshmen year with poor results I haven't improved.
Here are my best times from high school:
400m-50.37
200m-22.7
800m-2:02(first leg relay split)

I've been training as a sprinter in high school for the 200 and 400 for about 3 years. I don't know if I should abandon the 200 and work on the 400 and 800.

I weight 153lbs and I'm 6'2".
A reason why I think I should abandon the 200 is because I lack the strength and pure speed. I'm weak in the weight room.

I'm just really at a loss here. I'm trying to plan my summer workout to get much better but I don't know which direction to take.
