It's not your shoes. You've got structural issues and imbalances that need to be corrected before you can train 100% again. Simply taking time off doesn't fix any those problems.

ps--I was out for the better part of 9 months in 2010 with an Achilles issue. The culprit ended up being a tight Soleus, the same thing that caused PF five years before that. I've been injury free ever since I finally figured it out. Some days now I even forget which foot was hurt.
