So clearly things are going according to plan at least. A lot of people seem to think Webb hasn't done much speed work yet, and that wouldn't surprise me. The strength is there, now he needs some wheels. Tonight's 3:37 was probably worth a 3:55 mile. I would expect 3:53 or so at Pre, and by the time the Trials roll around he should be a contender for top 3. However, I still think Webb's medal chances are almost nil.
