Look at how "little" the following athletes accomplished after the American college system "destroyed" their careers: Marty Liquori, Sidney Maree, Vicky Huber, Sonia O'Sullivan, Don Paige, Adrian Blincoe, Bobby Curtis, Marcus O'Sullivan, Gerry O'Reilly, Carrie Tollefson, Jen Rhines. This is a partial list from only one university. Sorry for the sarcastic response, but it's not the system. Good coaching and the right philosophy allow athletes to succeed after college.
