That is one slippery slope. The same fifty years ago, we decided that divorce should be granted for any reason. Are you saying that this is a good idea? I think sometimes we change laws because of stupidity, not because the old law was wrong. Take it one step further: in fifty years, will we say that laws against pedophilia were discriminatory?
