If you think O'Lionaird left because he was struggling for money, getting his ass handed to him in training, or offered PED's you're sorely mistaken. Everyone speculates and makes assumptions before knowing the truth. Salazar is very busy and invested with Galen Rupp, at times other athletes don't feel they are getting his full and undivided attention. At this level that is often what you need to be confident in your training and perform well. Ciaran is an incredible runner who needed this attention. Rowland also is a great fit for Ciaran as they both are European and the group down in Eugene provides him with Chelanga for distance stuff and Mulder for shorter stuff. That's a great training mix for a guy with range like Ciaran and affords him diversity in training. Rowland is a straight to the point and no "BS" guy, identical to Ciaran. Don't count O'Lionaird out of anything. This is an immensely talented runner who has the confidence to compete and do so successfully on the World Level.
