You are reporting the following post to the moderators for review and possible removal from the forum Poster: Cheshire Subject: RE: MAKAU: "My recovery period is four months, and that is why I wasn’t going to run hard in London last month." Body: I think unfortunely Makau was given a birth last year for the London Olympics, also Abel Kirui was pre selected. Then the likes of Geoffrey Mutai & Wilson Kipsang had there sensational runs and Athletics Kenyan had to re-think, and thus change the criteria. In my opinion if Makau was just doing a temp run in the London Marathon then he would of run abit further than 20k. Also he has raced very little this year finishing second in a small Spanish half-marathon in 62:43, hardly the best of shape for a guy who is a consistant 58-59 minute half marathon runner. I think he's having a troubled season, and probably come good in Berlin or which ever marathon he decides to run later on this year. Hit the submit button below if you want us to review the post.
