It's true. I didn't remember about that Belgium race and Alan Webb's AR. i'm seeing that Brazilian milers aren't as good as the 80's and 90's milers. Interesting also that Argentinean mile record is from Omar Ortega. Former WSU miler from the late 70's (I think he was coached by John Chaplin). But this kid Federico Bruno (18 y.o) is almost in sub 4 shape this year. He ran the 1500 in 3:43 last week (he said that he's not at 100% shape yet). Probably he'll be in 3.40 at summer Euro competitions. Surely he'll be in Barcelona WJC's (mid July if I recall correctly) Hit the submit button below if you want us to review the post.
