Oh, that's right, it's because you're obsession with running dominates every thought you have. "How dare that stupid and incompetent doctor question my body's ability to handle this mileage! He doesn't know my abilities! This stress fracture is just a temporary setback that was in no way influenced by my body's limits!" It takes a freak of nature to handle the pounding of 100 mile weeks, and the doctor is just telling you that it's unlikely your body can hold up. That's why your visiting him/her afterall, right?
