Not counting last years Worlds if you go back the last 2 Olympics and 3-4 Worlds the Kenyans routinely run away from everyone except the Ethiopian and Hicham El Guerrouj, Bernard Lagat (in the 5000m), and Zersenay T and Moses (10000m). So unless your one of those competitors you're not close enough to make the Kenyans hurt in the last 1000m. Now last year there was a few additions that was able to hang with the Kenyans and beat them but last time I checked it was Chris Solinsky.

So while I applaud his thought on how to possibly beat the Kenyans, why not wait til you have done so before putting down a country that routinely perform much better then you in your event(s)?!
