You are reporting the following post to the moderators for review and possible removal from the forum Poster: JB800/1500 Subject: RE: Solinsky Pulls Plug on 2012 Body: he'll probably be a late entry at pre, and he said that if he is there he'll go for the standard there. but things arent looking good in terms of fitness. even if he does get the standard, that will have been in a fast race that he was pulled to. he doesnt have anything to work with in a tactical situation due to being "insanely behind the 8 ball." but it defintely will help to have that off his chest. based off of previous results and his current fitness, i say that the 5k team is Lagat (lock), Rupp (pretty solid lock), and based off of payton jordan and if he chooses to do so lomong (who right now i would put just a bit ahead of rupp.) unless sol shows something to indicate he can still pull off qualifying despite being behind (like he did last year, in rather impressive fashion given the circumstances) then i say he gets left off again. its sad to think that, especially since i think he'll be one of our best 5k guys late in the summer. its the same situation as webb right now, he'll be ready to roll late in the summer but might not be by the trials, which is where he wants to be.
