Subject: RE: Saucony Grid Profile
I tried them out today on a six mile run. As a more barefoot shoe enthusiast i'd have to pass on these. The 4mm drop didn't help much,it was too heavy compared to the Kinvara and other shoes I normally wear, the arch support killed me (I even took out the in-soles halfway through the run, made it more bearable), and the complete lack of flexibility (My friend's Pegasus were more flexible).
From what i've seen on the internet, it's basically a Kinvara with added cushioning, which couldn't be anymore wrong. The cushioning was extremely firm and felt hard, not soft (which is what i would expect from a new shoe).
I know my review may not be applicable to everyone but since there doesn't seem to be many reviews online, I figured i may as well give my two cents to anyone that cares.
