Wow!!! Way to show excitement. Do we ever wonder why there aren't more fans of our sport? Those who follow it cannot enjoy a good performance without adding some bonehead commentary on why is really sucked and isn't very notable. For crying out loud!!! Deena hasn't run on the track since 2007 and instead of throwing props and kudos, you have to dig for all the reasons it wasn't worthy of notice. (bitchy whiny voice) ..,"but she still gets lapped in the 10k with that time." Would that be the first time an athlete from the USA got lapped in a 10k? Does it really matter? If she makes the team should we arbitrarily eliminate her because she hasn't proven she can stay on the lap number of the lead runners? What the hell does it take to be excited for a runner who is out doing their best to follow their passion for the sport and dreams of Olympic success? Should we disparage you for your piss-ant 47:00+ 10k performance because you couldn't hang with the leaders who ran 31:30 in a local 10K road race? Anyway, work on your own life and improve yourself so we don't have to listen to your diarrhea-of-the-mouth regarding others who should be celebrated for their value and representation of everything positive about the sport.
