Body: Estrada is a dual citizen. He has Mexican citizenship by birth and US citizenship by naturalizations. He cannot compete at the US trials because of a new rule passed very recently (not sure if this year or last) where newly naturalized citizens are not eligible to compete in the trials. They have to wait a certain amount of time. Diego was left out by the system. The Mexican federation has offered Diego the opportunity to represent the nation of his birth at the Olympics after running the A standard. For Diego it's either wait 4 years to run at the trials and see if he makes the US team, or go to the Olympics this very year and achieve his dream. I don't think many athletes will turn down an opportunity to run at the Olympics for the country you were born in. GO DIEGO, Good luck in London!!!
