nyloco, thanks for starting the thread for many weeks.

I had a scare this week - during a 5 mile tempo in cold wet conditions, I felt a twinge in my right calf. I stupidly finished the workout, but did take the next day off.

I ran a nice 13 mile steady state run two days later and it seems 100%, so I think I got away with one. Why is it so hard to stop a workout? Afterward it seems like such an easy decision.

Next race is a summer biathlon in two weeks, then in mid May the heart of my season begins - Brooklyn Half, 5k on the track, and the Shelter Island 10k.
