Subject: Summer Training
Body:

My track season is over and I am looking for some ideas on what kind of training to do over the summer for XC. I am going to be a sophomore. My PR's from track are:

800 - 2:23
1600 - 5:19
3200 - 12:19

By the way, the 800 was always ran after the mile and the 3200 after the 800. Anyways, I figured over the summer I should just be building a base and running lots of miles. During the XC season, our peak mileage was maybe only 35-40 mpw and track we ran about 25 mpw. So how many mpw can my body handle without injuring myself? I haven't had any injury problems yet. Also, should I just be focusing on mileage, or doing some speedwork like tempo runs?

Also, my email is rzalog@gmail.com
