I'm a public school teacher. I'm guessing you're not and never could be. I typically work 12-15 hours daily teaching lessons, planning, gathering materials, holding extra study sessions, talking with parents (many of them certifiably nuts), etc. It's much tougher than you'd think, particularly since we have to tailor lessons to meet the needs of individual students. There's no one-size-fits-all lesson, and everyone seems to have an IEP. The "four month vacation" of which you speak lasts about 2 months. I'm guessing you're gonna vote Republican, right?
