Why not give it a go? If she qualifies for London, I am pretty sure that after the games would be a great moment to retire from professional racing, if she wants to. However, if she still likes running and racing, there is also no need to stop - diminishing someone's performance record because an athlete has aged, and therefore isn't as fast as he or she once was, is really a bit childish. Geb easily won the Vienna HM in 60 minutes last weekend. He isn't going to set another world record, but on a good day, it's still a pleasure to see him run.
