Body: Choose a school for 1) matches your academic major / goals; 2) culture / environment you enjoy; 3) running culture you will enjoy and thrive in - i.e. if Ohio MAC schools or similar in region, D2, D3. One thing I recommend highly is to ask questions to the coaches at the schools. They don't want to waste your time or their time. They'll tell you if you do or do not have a chance to run. Asking costs you nothing and the coaches will give you a more exact answer than this message board. Just ask by sending an email. The tone of response and facts therein will give you cues to the culture of the program from the coach himself. Hit the submit button below if you want us to review the post.
