Was it on company grounds? I would guess that it is ok. Lots of things get recorded without "consent" Think about it. And it's been shown in court that when at work, you can hardly expect any privacy at all. The reason they do it is maybe to save their butt and protect you in case there are any claim that there was discrimination in hiring. I can't see how it's any different than passing around your resume. I worked in a place where everything was recorded.
