They can reevaluate after the Olympics whether or not this guy should continue and hopefully they'll have enough time between Olympic bouts to hire a new one if this doesn't work as hoped.


Whatever happens in London cannot be credited or blamed on him. It is 97 days out. What do you really expect him to be able to do?

I seriously doubt that had the position not been filled it would make one iota of difference in the performance of US athletes.
