IDK where they are... but I know them

There are two regions... east and west

The division line is the mississippi river, except louisiana is also in the east.

The top 48 athletes in each region qualify for regionals based on final marks from the outdoor season.

Once at regionals, rounds are run, 16 make finals, and the top 12 from each regional site advance to the next round (ie: Nationals)

24 total athletes in each event at the NCAA Meet

*note- the multi athletes are not required to compete at NCAA regional competition, but the top 24 are advanced straight to nationals based on regular season marks
