He didn't really have a bad day at states. Maybe poor tactics (he lead by like 5-10m for a while), but most of it was because he's an 800/miler and the PA state course in definitely not for speed guys. It is horribly biased towards mudders and endurance types; that's why Drew lost to guys he beat by tons on Lehigh's pancake-flat course.
