Tony, congrats on the impending birthday. Any ambitious track plans? I hit 67 miles for the second week in a row and continue to slowly build mileage and long run while dealing with a sore right achilles/heel that has been hanging around since indoor nationals. Ran an 8k on a quite hilly course in Atlanta. 1st mile for me was 5:45 and I was in the lead pack! Took the lead and held it to the half way mark. Passed by a teammate from the open team and 400 meters from the end passed by one more youngster. 3rd OA and 1st master as I ran 27:32 to the 27:11 and 27:26 of the other two. Not race sharp. Time to start shifting training a bit for a 3k on the track in early May. Have a great week and enjoy the spring!
