You are reporting the following post to the moderators for review and possible removal from the forum Poster: muddygirl Subject: RE: Masters Weekend Races and Runs Body: A pretty solid week for me, although I wussed out and only did one hard workout. Still running ~65 miles/week. I did a short tempo run Tuesday (2 x 10 min. with 1 min. jog between) as I was really tired (not enough sleep). You'd think I'd learn. Had a fabulous long run today. It was fairly sunny and warm-ish and the trail was just the right balance of soft/firm. Lots of trees down so I had to go over/under or hurdle quite a few times, but somehow I managed to run quite a bit faster than I have been running this route. I felt nice and strong, too. Weight loss continues at its glacial pace, but there is a real difference. I wonder when I'll decide to race again? KP - still wearing the dorky compression sleeves as insurance. Thanks for the tip. I need to keep up on my stretches (or find a regular massage) and I'm wondering what the best way to build strength in my legs is - squats? lunges? weights? Don't really have the budget for a fitness club and have been doing little hand weights for my arms. Hit the submit button below if you want us to review the post.
