Maybe you should go and look at how some of the best did out of season or leading up to major races. It is called peaking for a reason. Alan Webb is not my favorite runner, but I can give credit where it is due and at least say he is heading in the right direction. With those performances it is not unrealistic to think that he can be down to 3:34/35 and capable of a sub 13:30 by the trials. Even in the US not many of the 1500 runners would be capable of that. So if he keeps progressing he has a legitimate shot. Did you happen to Catch what Nick Willis opened up with these past couple of months? He is in fact an Olympic Medalist. His 1500 and 5000 times were nothing spectacular....but when the time comes he will be ready. Hit the submit button below if you want us to review the post.
