My coach is one of Lydiards boys, Barry Magee.
Last summer he had me on 100-110 in singles plus morning runs. Followed by PURE hill sessions starting with three times a week for the first 3 weeks of springing and then 100% proper 6 times week on the original course around Mt Roskill. Then followed with the traditional speed and conditioning schedule around cornwall park.
That is as pure s you can get. including the 22mile waiatrua course every sunday.
Got to love living in the training grounds of past Olympic greats. Nz is awesome.

And 6 months is perfect, that is a full cycle you should be sweet for your thon
