Uhl dropped the hammer with a mile to go, and Areson and Felnagel did a great job of responding, but not too rapidly. Areson closes in her patented style in 65 to blow by Uhl. Felnagle may be the biggest story here, giving good chase to a couple of proven internationals. She still seems a bit tentative with the 5000, but I suspect she'll be showing more confidence by this summer. I think that winning Club Nationals in the fall showed her newfound strength.
