Body: Well, it is not a race many high school guys run on the track. According to milesplit stats for last year, 13 guys in the nation were sub 15 in track, and 2 of them were from California - http://USA.milesplit.com/rankings/2011/outdoor/hs/m/5000m For cross country, it looks like 23 guys did it last fall, 3 of them from Calif. http://USA.milesplit.com/rankings/2011/cc/hs/m/5000m It is not very common in any state.
