You are reporting the following post to the moderators for review and possible removal from the forum Poster: watchout Subject: RE: Cayla Hatton, High School Senior, Runs 33:17 10,000m Olympic Trials Body:
The school she attends is an independent school (not part of their state's association), and so it isn't part of the normal state/New England series, and also most meets wouldn't let her team participate in the same meet as association schools (e.g. the Independent Schools meet as part of the Great American Festival). She has competed for them in the past, holding class records in the frosh 800, 1500 and 3k. Sounds like injuries kept her from setting the other class records. If she is competing for them again this year I'm sure she'll set all the school records 800-3k that she wants. And it would be nice to see her against other nationally elite HS runners at NBON! Could you imagine Finn, Pierce, and Hatton in the 5k? Sounds like the makings of a great race to me... Hit the submit button below if you want us to review the post.
