Her success this past year, both in the Grand Prix event in Boston and now this gives hope to every high school runner stuck in a less then perfect situation at their school. I would love to know more about her competitive situation. For example, she doesn't appear to have run XC or track this year for Phillips Andover...in fact, perhaps never. (?) And the combination of some fast times when she was an underclassman, a road race this summer, and the before mentioned Grand Prix and the NE USTAF XC got her on everyone's radar. Fascinating.
