Poster: college kid......
Subject: RE: College Running in St.Louis
Body:

I as born and raised in the city of St.Louis. I graduated high school there in 2006 but now attend college in another city.

I must warn you....

STAY AWAY FROM ST.LOUIS

The city is dangerous, offers very little jobs, and is just all around dead. Yes, there may be one or two (at most) cool areas, but there are dozens of cities with great schools that have a tons of cool areas to hang out and have a fun college life.

Statistically, STL is one of the most dangerous places in America. I grew up in a nice part of the city and now live in the "ghetto" part of another city and there was far more crime in my "nice" area in STL then my "bad" neighborhood here.

Although I appreciate my roots, but I can say with 100 percent certainty that I will never live there again. I am very happy I didn't get to school there and get trapped in the city's cycle. Plus, if you didn't go to high school there you will likely struggle to meet people.
