Body: Ummm, John was schtooping several woman. Affairs were common for him. The song is about having affairs, not just one in particular. You can either assume his biographer is right. His statement in his final interview is right. Or that McCartney's version is right. The song has multiple meanings which is what I think Lennon was after--Ambiguity. Lennon was very good at that.
