1) run on hills more often
2) forward lunges
3) quad extensions
4) for glutes, single leg squats with opposite leg bent and propped against a wall: works glute med
5) double leg squats for gluts but have a trainer show you the correct form.

Most distance runners have stronger hamstrings than quads and almost nonexistent glut strength. Quads and glutes are important for when you want to run fast.
