Subject: RE: 50+ Masters Training and Racing Open Forum
In response to lucKY2b's comments about different modalities, I agree that we are all an "experiment of one" because we have to balance so many things: our 50+ year old bodies, our 20+ year old minds, work, family, etc. etc. Clearly the ultimate goal is to find what you can do consistently to balance those things and stay healthy.
This was mostly a recovery week for me after the 8K last Sunday. Despite the easy runs during the week my quads still didn't seem to be fully recovered during the weekend's strength workouts. Looking to do a low-key 10K next weekend. It will be my first 10K since I starting competing again.
