Maier was sensational but......she is not the commom name to a HASAY or a DERRICK when it comes to running. Hasay and Derrick have been doing it for years since junior high school and deserve the attention and recognition, particularly HASAY who has been a houshold name since she was in seventh grade. Just wiki Jordan Hasay. Maier? Maybe deserving of some attention this past year. But, when Maier can come even CLOSE....CLOSE to what HASAY and DERRICK have achieved, then I think we can cannonize Ms. Maier.
